Used Sony A-mount and Minolta AF lenses
Autofocus lenses for the Sony Alpha A-mount, the system Sony took over from Minolta in 2006. Minolta AF lenses, sold as Maxxum and Dynax, fit Sony A-mount DSLRs and SLT cameras as well as Minolta AF film SLRs, which makes them a great-value way to build a kit.
- Sony DT 18 to 70mm kit zooms
- Minolta AF zooms such as the 28 to 80mm, 35 to 105mm, 75 to 300mm and the much-loved 70 to 210mm f/4
- Minolta AF Xi power zooms
- Sigma, Tamron and Tokina autofocus zooms in A-mount
- Cosina 100mm f/3.5 Macro with matched adapter
Frequently asked questions
Do these lenses fit Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras?
Not directly. With an A to E-mount adapter they work on Sony mirrorless cameras; whether autofocus works depends on the adapter and the camera body.
What does DT mean on a Sony lens?
DT lenses are designed for the smaller sensor of Sony A-mount DSLRs. On full-frame bodies or film cameras they show dark corners, so choose a full-frame lens such as a Minolta AF zoom for those cameras.
