🔄 Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

In accordance with European consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you have an additional 14 days to return the product.

Conditions for Returns

✅ Refund of the purchase price excluding original shipping costs
✅ Product must be returned in the same condition as received
✅ All included accessories, manuals, and original packaging must be returned

❌ Products with a broken or removed seal sticker are excluded from the right of withdrawal
❌ Returns showing use beyond what is necessary to inspect the product may result in a partial refund or refusal

📦 Important Notice for Pre-Owned Products

  • Dutch|Thrift specializes in pre-owned and vintage electronics. When purchasing from us, please keep the following in mind:

    • Functional Testing: All products are tested for basic functionality prior to shipment.

    • No Refurbishment: Unless explicitly stated on the product page, our items are not serviced or refurbished.

      • Internal Maintenance: We do not lubricate mechanical parts or internal gears.

      • Seals: Light seals and mirror bumpers are not replaced and may show signs of degradation.

      • Calibration: The accuracy of light meters, shutter speeds, or internal sensors is not calibrated or guaranteed.

    • Optics & Lenses: Since these are vintage items, lenses may contain:

      • Internal Dust: Minor dust particles that do not affect image quality.

      • Optical Imperfections: Possible presence of micro-scratches (cleaning marks), slight haze, or early signs of fungus unless "mint" is specified.

      • Mechanics: Focus rings and zoom mechanisms may vary in stiffness and might not be as smooth as new.

    • Vintage Characteristics: Minor cosmetic wear, patina, or slight play in lens barrels and dials are considered normal for equipment of this age.

These characteristics are normal for second-hand goods and do not constitute a defect, provided the product functions as described at the time of sale.

🔋 Battery Condition (Pre-Owned Devices)

Some products sold by Dutch|Thrift include rechargeable batteries (such as cameras, handheld electronics, or accessories).

Please note:

  • Batteries in pre-owned products may not perform to original factory specifications or capacity

  • We test batteries for basic functionality only, such as whether the device powers on and whether the battery charges or is recognized

  • We do not test or guarantee battery runtime, endurance, or charge duration

  • Some devices may contain older batteries with limited or weak charge retention, even if the battery is technically functional

Reduced battery performance due to age and normal wear is considered a characteristic of second-hand goods and is not considered a defect, unless a specific battery condition or performance level was explicitly stated on the product page and is not met.

If a battery is non-functional upon arrival (for example, it does not charge at all or prevents normal use where a battery is required), please contact us so we can assess the issue under warranty and statutory consumer rights.

🛡️ Warranty – 90 Days Limited Warranty

All products sold by Dutch|Thrift include a 90-day limited warranty, starting from the date of delivery.
This warranty applies in addition to your statutory consumer rights under Dutch and EU law.

What the Warranty Covers

✔️ Functional defects that were not present or disclosed at the time of sale
✔️ Manufacturing or material defects under normal and intended use

What the Warranty Does Not Cover

❌ Normal wear and tear associated with pre-owned products
❌ Cosmetic imperfections or aging-related characteristics
❌ Minor stiffness, reduced smoothness, or battery capacity loss due to age
❌ Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper handling, or unauthorized repairs
❌ Software issues, incompatibility with third-party accessories, or user-installed firmware
❌ Products with a broken or removed seal sticker

Warranty Resolution

If a valid warranty claim is approved:
✔️ We will repair or replace the product free of charge
✔️ If repair or replacement is not possible, we may offer a gift card or refund, at our discretion

🚫 Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed, it cannot be canceled before shipment.
After delivery, you may exercise your right of withdrawal in accordance with this policy.
