Frequently asked questions
Which battery does my film camera need?
Many film cameras from the 1970s and 1980s use small button cells such as the SR44 for the light meter, while compact cameras from the 1990s often use lithium batteries such as the CR2. Check your manual or the battery compartment for the exact type.
Will an older digital camera read a large SD card?
Some older cameras only support SD cards up to 2GB and do not recognise SDHC cards of 4GB and larger. If your camera dates from the mid-2000s or earlier, a smaller card is the safe choice.
Can I copy photos from a memory card to my phone?
Yes. Our card readers with a Lightning or USB-C connector let you copy photos from SD and other cards straight to an iPhone, iPad or Android phone.
