Will a mount adapter keep autofocus?
Most adapters in this collection are simple mechanical rings without electronics. You focus manually and set the aperture on the lens itself, which is how most vintage lenses were designed to be used. Electronic adapters that pass on autofocus and aperture control only exist for certain lens and camera combinations; check the product description to see what an adapter supports.
Can I still focus to infinity with an adapter?
That depends on the flange distance. On mirrorless cameras the mount sits close to the sensor, so adapted SLR lenses usually keep infinity focus. If you put a lens on a camera with a longer flange distance, for example a Canon FD lens on a Canon EOS body, a plain ring acts like an extension tube and infinity focus is lost unless the adapter has a corrective glass element.
