Used camera lens filters

Protect your lens, cut reflections or add contrast to black and white film with a second hand lens filter. This collection holds screw in filters in many diameters, from small sizes such as 40.5mm and 43mm up to 72mm, plus close up lenses.

  • UV, skylight and protection filters from Hoya, Marumi, Canon, Nikon and Pentax
  • Circular polarizers (CPL) and polarizing filters from Hoya, Leitz and Miranda
  • Yellow, orange, red and green filters for black and white film from Nikon, Asahi Pentax, Rollei and Leitz
  • Close up lenses and macro filters from Canon, Minolta, Pentax and Marumi
  • Filters for rangefinder and twin lens reflex cameras from Leitz, Rollei and Voigtländer
  • Cokin square filter sets, multiple image lenses and Ilford Multigrade contrast filters for the darkroom

Every filter is checked and cleaned before sale, with a 90 day warranty and 14 days to return after delivery. Orders placed before 15:00 on business days ship the same day, with free shipping in the Netherlands from €75 and fast delivery across the EU.

Which filter size do I need?

Look at the front of the lens or the inside of the lens cap: the filter thread is printed in millimetres, often next to a ⌀ symbol, for example 49mm, 52mm or 58mm. Choose a filter with exactly that diameter. Many classic Nikon lenses take 52mm filters and many Asahi Pentax lenses take 49mm.

Do I need colour filters for black and white film?

They are optional but popular. A yellow filter darkens a blue sky slightly, orange and red give a more dramatic sky, and green lightens foliage. On colour film or a digital camera these filters give a strong colour cast, so they are mainly for black and white work.

Are used filters as good as new?

Glass filters do not wear out with age. We check every filter for scratches, haze and a smoothly turning thread before it goes on sale.
