SLR Film Cameras

Used 35mm SLR film cameras

A 35mm SLR lets you see exactly what the lens sees and gives you full control over focus, aperture and shutter speed. This collection holds our used single lens reflex film cameras, many sold as a ready to shoot kit with a lens. Each camera is a unique second hand item, so the selection changes quickly.

Typical cameras and systems you will find:

  • Pentax: Spotmatic and SP1000 (M42 screw mount), ME, ME Super, MX, K1000 and Super A (Pentax K)
  • Olympus OM1, OM2 and OM10 with Zuiko lenses
  • Canon AT1 and A1 (Canon FD), plus autofocus models such as the EOS 300 (Canon EF)
  • Nikon FM, F501, F50 and F55 (Nikon F)
  • Minolta XG1 (Minolta MD) and the autofocus 5000, 7000 and Dynax 5 (Minolta A)
  • Contax 139 Quartz and ST, Praktica, Konica Autoreflex, Ricoh, Miranda and Rolleiflex SL35

Every SLR is tested and cleaned before it is listed and comes with a 90 day warranty and 14 days to return after delivery. Order before 15:00 on a business day and we ship the same day, free within the Netherlands from €75 and to the rest of the EU.

Manual focus or autofocus SLR?

Manual focus cameras from the 1960s to 1980s, such as the Pentax K1000, Pentax ME or Olympus OM10, are ideal for learning and work with a wide range of affordable lenses. Autofocus SLRs from the late 1980s and 1990s, like the Canon EOS 300 or Nikon F50, are easier to use and work much like a modern camera.

Can I use these lenses on my digital camera?

Often, yes. Canon EF lenses fit Canon EOS digital SLRs, and Nikon F lenses fit many Nikon DSLRs. Manual lenses with an M42, Pentax K, OM or FD mount can be used on most mirrorless cameras with a simple adapter, focusing by hand.

Do these cameras need a battery?

Most do, usually for the light meter or the electronic shutter. Many common models use button cells or lithium batteries that are still easy to buy. Fully mechanical cameras such as the Pentax K1000 and Nikon FM can fire without a battery; only the light meter needs one.
